Following on from 'Nobody's Fault', featuring Tom Misch, Stones Throw signee Benny Sings releases 'Here It Comes', the second single to be unveiled from his forthcoming album Music. The brilliantly childish animated video by Sabrina Nichols that accompanies the track uses bold, bright colours, mirroring the sunny feeling. A tight hip-hop-inspired drum/bass groove is at the heart of the new single. Benny's vocals are stacked in 3 different pitches, creating a charming, candied group vocal. The catchy chorus melody is likely to be swirling around your head for the rest of the day, 'Here it comes, look at the sun, it’s all we need for now, number one'. Benny explains, “The lyrics are about me as a young boy, living on the streets in Dordrecht [a city in the Netherlands] with my skate crew, and feeling life presenting itself, and feeling excited about it. A time full of hope and bravado. My dad used to call us ‘Little Giants.’”. Benny's new album Music is out on April 9 via Stones Throw Records. -Ellie Rose-Davies
